living room /dining room, with French doors that open onto a patio and garden surrounded
by mature trees. There is one bedroom with ensuite facilities off the living room. There is
a separate kitchen with all modern conveniences. Hallway to bathroom and bedroom with double
and one single beds.

Palmerstown cottages are situated in a beautiful rural location. The coast lines of Clare and Galway are only a short drive away for those fantastic panoramic views of the clear blue sea and surrounding area.
The Cottages are located on a four-acre parkland site, home to Five pet donkeys, Palmerstown cottages offer to the visitor a unique choice of 4 star Irish Tourist Board approved accommodation. The two cottages on the site, Palmerstown cottage (3 bed rooms) and Palmerstown forge (2 bed rooms), are set back approx fifty meters from the main Galway to Athenry Road in a quiet rural setting approximately 15.3km from Galway city and 6.3km from the village of Oranmore. The heritage town of Athenry is within 7.3km.

A short history of the Palmerstown cottages
|
|
Palmerstown Cottage is a traditional Irish thatched cottage. Built over 100 years ago by a local farming family and beautifully restored by its present owners it has been used as self catering accommodation for the past sixteen years. Palmerstown Forge originally uses as farming out-houses has now been lovingly restored to its present splendour and has been used as a self-catering cottage for the past ten years.

of Co Clare, Galway and Connemara, while being just fifteen minutes drive of the bustling
city of Galway and its theatres, shops, bars and restaurants. The Championship Golf Course
